Third Time Lucky!

Made it this time – up the Col de Péguère without punctures or other disasters – in one of the few weather windows there’ve been. This blog update has been delayed over 24 hours due to electrical storms- and I’ll not be riding much as the roads round here are now covered with mud and gravel after the rains!

Col de Péguère (890m, 18.5 km from the house) was pretty easy really, the Col de Marrous is definitely the hardest part, then about 4km fairly steep, before the last section at 2 to 3% which you can whizz along at about 20km/h. So 42min to the Marrous is an improvement, 1h18 to the top, and 29 minutes down is OK I reckon.
